Pinx International was founded in the year 1992. The company quickly established itself in the European and Australian markets. In the year 1995 the company expanded its business and captured the markets in America, Taiwan, Korea and Japan. In order to cater to the growing business the company expanded its office premises and shifted to its existing office location in the year 2000. In addition to that Pinx acquired two factories in the outskirts of Kolkata.

Pinx also acquired a dyeing unit in the year 2001. In the year 2002, Pinx International opened a branch office in Mumbai in order to cater to the middle Eastern market. Later, the branch office was converted to a designing division of the company primarily due to the strategic location with respect to creating special sequins, beads, fabrics and special techniques that later formed the niche of the company.

Due to the excellent performance, the Indian Silk Export Promotion Council awarded the company for “EXCELLENCE IN EXPORTS” for five consecutive years. In order to cater to the demands of the customers for finished garments, a separate garments division was established in the year 2011.
